Thank you for visiting the Middle Tennessee State University Police Department’s Web site. I hope you will find the information
contained here very useful.
Middle
Tennessee
State
University
contains a thriving college campus environment where young men and women further their educational pursuits. What was once a small college has blossomed into the largest undergraduate university in the State of
Tennessee
. Within the framework of this institution sits our Police Department’s ongoing mission of providing a secure arena for everyone who visits the campus to gain benefits from their experiences at
Middle
Tennessee
State.
Our goal is to provide police services to members of the Campus Community and to all visitors to the University. In order to
accomplish this task, our Police Department maintains a law enforcement presence on campus 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We divide our time between assisting individuals, groups, and departments and performing
specific police functions on campus. Our officers constantly strive to maintain professionalism and effectiveness in their interactions with students, faculty, staff, and visitors. We afford direction and resources
for students; we support the efforts of faculty to instruct students; and we work with staff members who provide for students. We also encourage visitors to call on us for assistance.
Middle
Tennessee
State
