Crime Alert - September 22, 2008

MTSU Police would like your help in identifying the two individuals in the above pictures in reference to fraudulent use a credit card on September 15, 2008. The first person of interest is the black male last seen wearing a white t-shirt and a cap. He was last observed driving the white 4 door sedan with sunroof and drive out tag in Picture 2. The second person of interest is described as a black male, last seen wearing the black t-shirt with “respect my bling” on the front and medium length dreadlocks that fade into brown and a New York hat.

Extra precautions you should take:

 

·         Use the University Escort Service (call 2424).

·         Do not walk alone, especially at night.

·         Stay away from dark, poorly-lighted areas, especially buildings, parking lots, bushes, hedges, and alleys.

·         Do not walk with your head down. Walk confidently and watch around you at all times.

·         Never talk to strangers. Never accept rides from a stranger or mere acquaintance. Always inform another person about your destination and expected time of return. This could save your life.

·         If you have any information about this crime or any other crime, please call MTSU Department of Public Safety at (615)898-2424. Or you may call Crime Stoppers at (615)893-STOP between the hours of 8:00AM and 4:30PM, Monday through Friday.  Should you call Crime Stoppers and your information lead to an arrest, you may be eligible for an award of up to $1,000. All calls are anonymous and confidential.
