Crime Alert - September 28, 2008

On Sunday morning, September 28, 2008, at approximately 12:05 A.M. two MTSU students were robbed by three males in the parking lot just south of the Walker Library. The two students, one male and one female, were walking through the parking lot when the suspects approached. One of the three suspects told the victims to give him their belongings. The victims handed over a set of keys with I.D. cards, a silver-colored cell phone, and an Alabama baseball cap.

The first suspect was described as a black male of average build approximately 18 to 20 years of age with dreadlocks pulled back into a pony tail wearing a black t-shirt over a white t-shirt and long black baggy shorts. The other two suspects were described as black males wearing black clothing, one with no shirt on. No other description was immediately known. The suspects left the area on foot. No weapon was used by the suspects.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact the MTSU Police Department at 615-898-2424 or CrimeStoppers at 615-893-7867.
