Who do I call in case of emergency?
If you have an EMERGENCY, CALL 911. Calls
from campus telephones will be answered by MTSU Dispatch. Please note calls from cell phones
and pay phones on campus are currently answered by Murfreesboro City Police
Dispatch. If you wish to reach the MTSU DISPATCH from your cell phone or
MTSU campus pay phone, please call 898-2424.

We are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a

file a report?
To report a crime, please call 898-2424 or
come by our office located at 1412 East Main St (click
here for map).

How
do I get a copy of an accident or incident report that I filed?
Call ahead (2424) and see if the
report is approved and if so, come to our office at 1412 East Main St. The cost is $1 per page.

do I report a crime anonymously?
You may report a crime anonymously
either through Crime Stoppers at 893-7867
(STOP) or by calling the MTSU Police Dispatch at 898-2424 or online anonymous
reporting- Silent Witness.

do I request an officer to speak to my group on crime prevention?
MTSU Public Safety has several
programs on crime prevention (Alcohol Awareness, Rape Awareness, Theft
Prevention, Campus Safety and such) that officers may present to students.
