Biography

Dr. Chandra R. Story, MCHES has worked in both the behavioral sciences and allied health sectors. She served as a state grant project coordinator and Communications Manager for the U.S. Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration on the topics of youth suicide prevention and mental health. Dr. Chandra R. Story, MCHES has worked in both the behavioral sciences and allied health sectors. She served as a state grant project coordinator and Communications Manager for the U.S. Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration on the topics of youth suicide prevention and mental health. During that time, Dr. Story partnered with parents to develop award winning social marketing programs. She has also worked as a licensed clinical medical technologist in diverse settings across five states, and has international public health experience. Dr. Story’s practice based research includes program evaluation and assessment of mental health, physical activity and HIV advocacy programs. Her focus is on the promotion of health equity through research.
