Sociology Minor

Sociology and Anthropology 

The minor in Sociology requires 18 semester hours of sociology. A student majoring in the department can select one minor from within the department.

  3 credit hours

  Covers the central concepts, theories, and methods of sociology. Focuses on social processes and institutions in modern societies. Assists students in understanding and applying this knowledge in their everyday lives. Counts toward General Education Social/Behavioral Sciences requirement.

Electives (15 hours)

• Students may choose any courses with the SOC prefix for their elective courses.
