Did
you know that MTSU has its own police department?
MTSU
officers are on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week,
and are always available, ready, and willing to help you.
If you have an emergency, please call 911. ALL 911 calls
from campus are routed to our dispatch. NOTE: 911 calls
from cell phones and pay phones are answered by
Murfreesboro City Dispatch. If you wish to contact

are located on the south side of campus at 1412 East Main
Street.
The
MISSION
of your MTSU Public Safety Department, in partnership with
the University community, is to protect life and property,
to support the educational mission of the University
through maintaining an orderly environment conducive to
positive learning experiences, to resolve security
problems, and to apprehend law violators in a manner
consistent with national law enforcement standards. Public
Safety has a variety of programs designed to help provide
a secure environment, but we cannot be effective without
your cooperation. We are here to help, so be sure to call
2424 immediately to report any suspicious person(s) or
