Patch Requests

Thank you for your interest in our agency’s patch. Our current department patch was created in 2015 by Assistant Chief Roy Brewer. Its primary design elements are the United States Flag and the Tennessee Flag, separated by a blue line symbolizing the ‘thin blue line’ and overlaid by MTSU’s logomark. It measures 4″ x 4 15⁄16″ (10.2 x 12.5 cm) and uses the colors MTSU Blue (CMS 300), Flag Red, Flag Blue, black, and white.

Our department does not sell patches or challenge coins. Due to overwhelming demand and concerns about misuse, we can provide patches only to active-duty emergency services personnel. If you would like to receive an MTSU Police patch, please email pd.mtsu@mtsu.edu with your mailing address and a dated request on your department’s letterhead.

Trading

We prefer to trade one of our patches and/or challenge coins for one from your agency. Please send your request on department letterhead, along with your patch and/or coin, to the following address, and you will receive ours in return.
